Poppy

Description

Poppy is a 5 year old bulldog/husky/terrier mix with a ton of personality (almost too much!). Despite her age, everyone we meet still think she’s a puppy because of her size and high energy and enthusiasm. Even though she is selective when it comes to interacting with other dogs (she doesn’t like strange dogs in her face), her favourite thing is showing off as my demo dog in obedience and agility classes. She also gives a great side eye, and clearly thinks she’s the smartest one in the room. She’s not highly food or toy motivated, but would sell her soul for beef liver if the job was exciting enough. She’s also extremely fast, and loves to run, but is also content to spend the day snuggling in bed. She she absolutely loves humans of all ages, especially children. She can swim, but is convinced she will sink like a rock if she can’t touch the bottom.
