Marty (Mr. Martian)

Description

Marty (Feb 19, 2021) is a happy, active, easygoing kitten who loves to play, jump, snuggle his husky-mix sister, and steal as much cheese as he can! He is a city kitty, and has spent a fair amount of time outside harnessed and on leash exploring the busy downtown world. Marty enjoys meeting new people, dogs, and bugs, and make a point of trying to take a bath in the sink most days while his mom is getting ready for work in the morning. Marty LOVES to play with his birdie toy, and can be spotted jumping and chasing it like a wild little lynx! Because he has a 70lb dog as an older sister, he’s a bit confused, and sometimes grabs and runs away with his ball, a scrunchie or other toys in his mouth. Marty will sit on command, and is incredibly food motivated as well! He is comfortable in his body harness, and eagerly goes on walks on busy downtown streets in his backpack carrier, or sometimes even in arms - the world is an interesting and exciting place! Marty is a bold boy, and his parents are both on-set film technicians who understand the importance of introducing him to various environments, people, and sounds, while still ensuring he feels safe and comfortable! Loud noises terrify the dog, but Marty is generally unaffected :) Marty loves being brushed and groomed, bathing, and likely wouldn’t be opposed to kitten-safe SPFX makeup (though I’m sure he would try and do his own hair and makeup if given the chance). He is also comfortable with regular nail trims and maintenance You will LOVE our Marty!
