Hello! I adopted Benny from the Barrie SPCA (where I happen to work as well). He was brought into the centre as a stray and I instantly fell in love with him. The day I brought him home, he instantly became attached to me. He doesn’t leave my side & will literally meow on the other side of the bathroom door until I’m out. He loves everyone he meets & will cuddle on anyone’s lap & be pet by everyone. Benny is a high energy cat, who enjoys running around the house with major zoomies, or bouncing off the walls when we use the laser pointer. He can jump ridiculously high! He is very vocal & will often have conversations with me & my family. We have an 11 yr old dog (puggle) who Benny tolerates but doesn’t particularly enjoy his company. Benny is very curious and needs to be apart of everything. No matter what I’m doing in a day, he’s always interested! So far I believe his only fears are the vacuum and hair drier. He loves his tall cat tree & always has to be up high. His worst habit is jumping up on our counters, especially if there is meat and food up there. Which brings me to my next point, he is OBSESSED with food. He will literally eat anything and everything. His breakfast and dinner are the highlights of his day. I swear he could eat himself to death if he had unlimited food in front of him. He is also a huge fan of cat nip and goes crazy for it. He is the best cat to take pictures of. He always finds interesting places to sit or sleep and will stare right in the camera and be still when I’m taking pictures of him. He makes it too easy for me! He would be the perfect cat model, as he is the perfect model for me!
