Charlie is a very sweet and affectionate dog. He’s actually a therapy dog! He loves all people, is really good kids and overall he aims to please. He's good around different mobility devices (wheelchairs, walkers, etc). When he sees people, he usually greets them with the biggest smile as if it’s been years since he’s seen you - even if he hasn’t met you before! He is a small/medium size dog (a bit bigger than 'small', but smaller than the average 'medium' size). He loves to splash in the water (but not fully swim), play fetch with sticks or balls and go on walks. He has medium energy - but can tone it down, and also bring it up as he is quite playful with toys when he's excited and with new people. His absolute favourite toy is lamb chop (all shapes and sizes).  He can give paw, five (1 paw up), high five (both paws up), and loves to ‘boop’! and gives lots of hugs as well! He listens well, walks well and is fine off leash when appropriate. He has good recall and 'touch' command. He does well in the car. He will wear just about anything as well - boots, sweaters, coats, harnesses, bandanas, hats, etc - he's been dressed for all weather, seasons and holidays. He comes shopping in dog friendly stores and walks well on leash. If you need a dog to roll in the grass or leaves, or army crawl on carpet or turf - Charlie’s your dog. He loves to snuggle and is very used to being on furniture. He can relax when needed. He's pretty good with most food and treat options and loves to sniff for food and treats. He loves all seasons - summer to splash in the water and roll around in the grass; fall to go exploring and catch piles of leaves; winter where he can catch snow balls and eat them, and spring he's happy to get warmed up after the winter months and go for longer walks. He also gets along well with other dogs, but doesn't need to play with them - he can be quite neutral after a moment or two of saying hello/sniffing. He has participated in a Pet Valu casting shoot in November 2022, an official Pet Valu photoshoot (lifestyle photoshoot) in January 2023 (with Furry People Productions!) and most recently in an e-comm photoshoot with Pet Valu in August 2024 (photos to come soon). He’s also had photos professionally twice, so he’s comfortable with the camera and on a set. He is VERY treat motivated and again, really aims to please!
